The human body is mainly composed of water. It is, therefore, essential to maintaining a good level of hydration
permanently. The bracelet connected LVL developed by BSX Athletics is the first in the world to measure
the moisture content of the wearer.
Dehydration affects physical performance; sleep quality,
intellectual functioning, but also the general mood. Unfortunately, many people
neglect their hydration and forget to
drink enough water. To remedy this problem, BSX Athletics LVL created the first
bracelet connected capable of measuring the moisture content of the wearer.
Taken directly from the medical community, LVL technology is
based on a red light sensor. Compared to green light sensors used by most of
the connected objects available on the market, this sensor allows measuring the body data ten times deeper. This
system developed for 4 years, LVL stands as one of the heart rate monitors the
most accurate on the market. It is also the only strap connected can measure
the moisture.
LVL informs the user in real time on its hydration rate, the
rate of sweating, heart rate, mood, the number of steps taken and calories
burned, combined with a very precise monitoring of moisture levels.
With real-time notifications, the user can know the amount
of water that should drink to improve athletic performance and the percentage
performance improvement which they may benefit. It can also check the amount of
water he/she must drink before going to sleep, and the likelihood of getting a
good night's sleep offered by this amount.
Similarly, the user can avoid a decline in cognitive
performance due to dehydration. Recall that dehydration can reduce mental
performance at 51%. A poorly hydrated person can get the same results that a
person having reached the legal limit of alcohol in a cognitive test.
All information is displayed in color on the touchscreen
OLED LVL through such a clear intuitive interface. Three different models of
bracelets are available. Users can choose between a silicone version, brown
leather or black leather. Via Bluetooth, the device connects to the smartphone,
connected to the watches, the bike computers and other devices to provide a
connected experience in the broad sense of the term.
